Markets.com Review
Markets.com sets itself apart by offering zero costs, low spreads, and a transparent pricing system in addition to a wide range of tradable assets. Markets.com's service is enhanced by the large range of trading jurisdictions available. The broker is the best for new traders who want to learn to trade the markets.
Markets.com is a leading forex and CFD broker in the industry that is owned by Finalto, a part of Playtech PLC, traded on the London Stock exchange in the FTSE 250 Index. The broker was founded in 2008, has headquarters in Cyprus, and is regulated by CySEC, FCA, FSCA, and ASIC. They offer you a generous range of more than 2,000 financial instruments to trade with very good trading conditions including tight spreads and low commissions. These instruments include forex, commodities, stocks, ETFs, Indices, bonds, popular cryptocurrencies, and blends of CFD funds. Markets.com is one the best CFD brokers for every level of trader for many reasons that we will explore in great detail throughout this review. You can trade via MetaTrader’s most well-known desktop trading platform, or you can use the brokers proprietary web trading platforms. Markets.com also provides world-class financial news and market analysis to its customers at no extra charge, whilst customer support is provided 24/5.
Markets.com customers can enjoy a seamless trading experience and fast execution while trading their favourite instruments without interference. The broker has many options in terms of trading platforms, making it the only choice for some traders. Many will look at Markets.com as a trusted broker as its parent company is traded on a stock exchange. On the other hand, the broker has high forex trading fees and inactivity fees, and there are limited customizability options in its web trading platforms.
Markets.com offers more than 2,000 trading instruments over a wide range of asset classes like forex, CFDs, commodities, real stocks, ETFs, bonds, indices, and blends of CFDs funds. The broker has an impressive portfolio over its competitors: 67 currencies, 1,996 stocks, 66 ETFs, 28 commodities, 40 indices, 25 CFDs, 4 bonds, 25 cryptocurrencies, and 13 blends. However, the broker does not offer options for trading. Overall, traders can diversify their risk over available financial asset classes. Moreover, some trading instruments are offered only on professional accounts instead of standard or retail accounts. Traders can enjoy tight spreads by trading on the broker’s web trading platforms but will experience slightly wider variable spreads while trading on MT4 and MT5. You will not own any underlying assets when you trade CFDs with Markets.com since you are speculating on price changes.

Markets.com offers a great choice of 11 base currency options to its customers. This provides an advantage to those of you residing in other countries and using your local currencies as your account base currency (if your local currency is offered as a base currency) as you wont incur any conversion fees. To facilitate its clients, the broker offers a wide range of payment methods, including wire transfers, credit/debit cards, and some of the popular electronic wallets. With no deposit or withdrawal fee charged, the broker offers seamless transactions. However, some payment methods might not be available for customers in some countries. The broker does not offer cryptocurrency wallets or cryptocurrency as a payment option which puts the broker behind some competitors such as Axi. Transactions can take anywhere from an instant to 3-7 business days with bank transfer which is why I always prefer to use a faster funding method such as e-wallets.

Markets.com Safety
Markets.com provides a robust technical infrastructure that helps in the execution of swift trades. Markets.com benefits from its affiliation with Playtech, a FTSE 250-listed technology business, by providing rapid transaction execution, low downtime, and a feature-rich website and online trading platform that is seamless and highly performant. The broker does not hold a banking license despite being traded on a stock exchange and disclosing its financial statements publicly. Which is the only lagging factor one can find. On the other hand, the broker provides negative balance protections to its customers who fall under the jurisdiction of CySEC in Cyprus and FCA in the UK and the EU. In the end, the broker has a track record of over a decade and is well-reputed; therefore, you could try this broker after reading the terms and conditions on their website. I personally think that they are one of the most trusted brokers along with the likes of IG and City Index.
Markets.com provides very responsive customer support around 24/5. It means customer support is not available on weekends. Customers can acquire help from customer support through live chat, phone, or email. The customer representative staff is quite helpful and tries to answer its customer’s queries seamlessly. Customer support is available in 21 languages which is great but I think they could improve by extending working hours to weekend to keep up with brokers such as Admirals.
Markets.com sets itself apart by offering very low costs, tight spreads, and a transparent pricing system in addition to a wide range of tradable assets. You can trade on all your devices using industry leading platforms with access to plenty of tools and educational resources to help you along the way. Markets.com’s service is further enhanced by the large range of trading jurisdictions available. The broker has many years of history of providing Forex, CFDs, and Spread Bets (Spread Bets are only available to UK customers). CySEC, FSCA, FCA, ASIC, and BVI FSC are all regulators of Markets.com which gives you peace of mind that they will operate in a transparent manner.
