Kwakol Markets is a multi-asset brokerage firm that gives you access to a smart and secure trading environment. I found them to have a very good range of investment services, showing that they can cater to both retail and institutional traders alike. Your trades are executed through the intuitive MetaTrader 4/5 platforms with ECN connectivity to make sure that you can take positions with some of the best prices in the markets at all times. I like that the minimum deposit is only $1 and free demo accounts are also available which is great for beginners who want to practice trading online before making a commitment. There is a vast range of over 1,000 financial instruments available including CFDs on forex, cryptos, stocks, indices and commodities.
There is plenty of choice when it comes to trading instruments. You can choose from thousands of contracts for differences (CFDs) across multiple asset classes. One of the main advantages of CFD trading is that you can speculate on rising and falling prices without actually needing to physically own the underlying asset. You can enter long (buy) and short (sell) positions depending on what direction you think the price will move. I found them to have a selection equally as good if not better than some of their direct competitors, with plenty of choice for everyone. You will find major currency pairs, popular cryptos and stocks of large companies. On the other hand, I couldn’t find any Options, Bonds or ETFs.

Commission and Spread Fees
Kwakol Markets has a good variety of accounts for you to choose from, with the main differences being the minimum deposit, commission fee, spreads and execution speeds. I think it is great that they have accounts to cater for different trading styles. I found the spreads and commission to be generally very low, better than many other brokers I have reviewed in the past. However, the VIP account which has the best conditions does require a much larger $10,000 deposit.
The account that you opt for is likely to depend on your trading style. For example, day traders who are taking positions on a regular basis, may want the account with the lowest overall spreads and commissions. On the contrary, investors who plan on holding positions for a long period of time, may not be too concerned with the costs.
Islamic Accounts
They support Muslim traders with an Islamic Account that doesn’t incur any swap fees. This makes it comply with Sharia law. I think it is admirable that they welcome clients from all backgrounds. Just keep in mind that this account has increased spreads to cover the lack of swap fees.
Demo Accounts
As you would expect from most brokerage firms, free demo accounts are also available. I would always start trading on a demo account to try out my trading strategies and get a feel for what a particular broker has to offer.

Deposit and Withdrawal Fees
The broker charges $0 fees for deposits of up to $5,000. There is a $25 banking charge on withdrawals of $5,000 and above. These are normal charges you will pay with most brokers. You might want to check to see if your payment provider will charge you any additional fees.
MetaTrader
You can access the global markets via the MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5) platforms. These are my go-to platforms for trading CFDs and the industry standard. It is great that Kwakol Markets provide both versions of the platforms as most brokers would provide one or the other. If you aren’t already familiar with MetaTrader, it has an easy to navigate interface and is very user-friendly. The intuitive design makes it a breeze to do everything from analysing the markets to entering and exiting positions with minimal fuss.

You may be thinking what platform is better for me? In my opinion, both MT4 & MT5 have more than enough features and functionalities for most traders. They can even be expanded by adding free or paid tools from the platforms built-in marketplace. MT5 does come with increased capabilities by default, including more chart timeframes, order types and indicators. From my experience, MT4 is more of a platform dedicated towards forex trading whereas MT5 is more of a stock trading platform. Regardless, they are so similar in many aspects that if you learn how to use one, you should be able to use both.

You can trade with both platforms on your desktop computer, directly in most web browsers or whilst on the move by using the MetaTrader app. I personally like the desktop platform for running automated systems (expert advisors) but also use the trading app as this allows me to quickly check my trades whenever I like. You can access the platforms from the brokers website or directly from the developer, MetaQuotes.
Autochartist
One of the standout features of Kwakol Markets for me is that they offer Autochartist. I really like this tool for automatically scanning the markets for trading signals. You can configure it to run customised searches for you based on the instruments and trade setups that you want to look for. It will alert you when it finds a signal that meets your criteria. This can save you from spending countless hours looking at charts. Autochartist comes as an add-on for the MetaTrader platforms. Not all brokers provide this invaluable tool so it is something that I feel helps them to stand out from the competition.

Acuity
Acuity is a fantastic tool that implements sophisticated machine learning and natural language processing technology to analyse market news on a daily basis. It puts together these findings to quantify the sentiment of the market towards any given financial instrument. I think this is a great way to get another opinion on what is happening. It can help to make informed decisions and implements seamlessly within the MetaTrader platforms.

Calculators
You will find a few handy calculators on the website to help with preparing trades and market analysis. The available calculators include:
- Currency Converter
- Fibonacci
- Pivot Point
- Stop Loss Limit
- Economic Calendar

A unique feature is that they are one of a few brokers I have come across who allow you to make deposits and withdraw profits using Bitcoin. There is a deposit limit of $600 if you are using a card. I personally prefer card or digital wallet payments as it means that I can usually get quicker access to my funds. This is important if there is some market news happening that I want to try and take advantage of.
